Welcome

ST MARK’S LUTHERAN CHURCH, BIRMINGHAm

Welcome to St Mark’s Lutheran Church serving Birmingham and the greater West Midlands community.

St Mark’s is connected with the Lutheran Chaplaincy at the University of Birmingham.  It is a community of faith that serves both students from this and other universities in the region and members of the wider community who are interested in worshiping in the Lutheran tradition.

Lutheran students join with the community in worship at 11am on the first and third Sundays of each month at St Francis Hall on the university campus.

After service we share lunch and together build a community of caring persons to help us through the joys and challenges of life.

We are an international community of persons from different nations and backgrounds, brought together by a search for the meaning of life through forgiveness and justice.

Meetings with the Anglican Society, outings to nearby countryside areas, musical events and home visits help make this a meaningful community of faith for Christians who would like to experience a progressive Lutheran tradition.

You are welcome to join us in life’s journey, walking as best we are able in the footsteps of Jesus.
